If it&#8217;s anything like our schedule it&#8217;s busy.  We&#8217;ve got one son going to play practice and another going to baseball games and when there isn&#8217;t a game they&#8217;re practicing.  On baseball game nights, which is most weeknights, anyone who goes to the game typically isn&#8217;t home until after 10:00PM, usually later.  When there aren&#8217;t baseball games there are church committee meetings or work obligations that keep us away.  It&#8217;s gotten to the point where we have to say no to things we&#8217;d like to do but we just don&#8217;t have the time.  They&#8217;re good things like mentoring engaged couples.  We&#8217;d like to do it but our sons are only going to be this age once.  Family and marriage need to be a priority because they are just as much a ministry as that engaged couple.  I can think of few greater testaments of ministry than a happily married couple after many years of marriage.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"bluetext\">Are there good activities, maybe even ministry activities, that are getting in the way of you ministering to your family and marriage like you feel you <em>should<\/em>?<\/span>  If so, it&#8217;s time to set a boundary, learn to say no, and give them up.  Allow someone else to step up.  Be careful of the choices you think you&#8217;re making to serve God.  Sometimes those decisions may not be what&#8217;s really best.  Think about it.  Pray about it.
